 THE POWER OF TESTIMONY Testimony is an evidence, a firsthand authentication of a fact, it is an open acknowledgement. In (Luke 8:38-39); "The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him. We don’t share Christ to bring attention to us, We don’t share our Past, our Conversion, or even our Growth to bring attention to us!  But to draw many to the kingdom. Testimonies are Great tools of encouragement, they usually birth more testimonies and are reminders of God’s goodness and faithfulness . If you have been rescued by God from your sin and it's consequences, one of the ways you can express thanks to God is by telling others of what happened.  I encourage you to share your testimony with at least one person daily. The Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy When we come to truth, it is the Holy Spirit who guides us in our search. We can trust God's Holy Spirit to open Scripture to us to show us the things that are and the things to come. He is the only One who can do this.  Jesus' life was the fulfillment of many Biblical prophecies, but prophecy is more than just historical proof of a Messiah. It is a daily revealing of Jesus to us by the Holy Spirit-whose function it is to glorify God and to reveal Jesus to us. Jesus said that when the promised Comforter, the Holy Spirit, would come to the Church, He would testify of Jesus.  We are to abide in Christ Jesus after we have come to truth. Abiding prepares us to be used by the Holy Spirit to effectively testify of our Savior.
