ABSOLUTE TRUST IN GOD

Don’t let the limiting state of your mind fathom how God will bring it to pass.

Bishop Oyedepo once said "God does not speak according to your limitations but according to his capacity to perform".

Remember the story of the man upon whose hands the king leaned on in 2 Kings 7:1-20.

Elisha announced that by this time tomorrow, God will make a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel.
The amount sounded unthinkable.
This man was probably like most of us today with fancy financial degrees from Harvard business school or Cambridge. He exclaimed "if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be?" 1 kings 7:2b

He questioned the right word. Job 6:25a

Scripture goes further to state that "God shames the wise with foolish things"
1 Cor 1:27

Truth is, God does not need your intelligence to cause a change in your life.... whatever he has purposed will definitely come to pass.
This, however, does not occlude the importance of personal development. My context here is: Have absolute trust in God, irrespective of your developed capacity.

Scripture says that the horse is prepared for the day of battle but safety is of the Lord. Prov 21:31.

Trust God for help at all time
Lean not on your understanding
Let him shepherd you
Let him take the wheel
Give him full access into your life.

Most times our struggles in life is as a result of over confidence in our ability.
"So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy". Roms 9:16
