GRACE & REALITY THROUGH CHRIST
John 1:17: For the law was given through Moses; But God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.
The ministry of Moses unveiled to us the knowledge of the law.
Moses showed us the law but not the reality of the revelation of God.
Hebrew 7:19: For the law made nothing perfect and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.
A better hope “Jesus Christ” came to draw us near to God
Jesus Christ said in John 14:6
I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the father except through me.
The law showed us how sinful and broken we were (Romans 3:20),
But Grace made us to understand that;
We are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that we may declare the praises of him who called us out of darkness into his wonderful light (1 Peter 2:9)
When Christ came, instead of reminding us of our sin and brokenness, he gave us insights on how to mend our ways and fix our brokenness. He helped us to realize the character of the father and shaped our mind to grasp the personality of God.
Instead of Jesus Christ allowing us to go through life alone with the burden of sin as in Romans 6:23,
He showed us how to experience true forgiveness, how to connect with the father.
He made us to unravel that being good and doing good deeds cannot save us, but by the grace of God (Eph 2:8-9)
the scripture unveil to us that genuine salvation is entirely of God and not a result of good deeds.
“You were saved by grace through your faith in God who treats you much better than you deserve. This is God’s gift to you, and not by anything you have done on your own”
Why are you struggling to access what Christ died for?
Christ paid the price of your salvation in full.
You do not have to do anything to be save but to acknowledge the sacrifices he made on the cross for you.
Just connect with your redeemer today.
It is a new day for you.
